I am also a huge fan of smoked sausage and sauerkraut... I remember as a kid eating that for dinner and then the joy of opening my lunch the next day to find sausage and sauerkraut on white bread... spongy bread that always tore and wouldn't hold the sausage and kraut correctly.... kids looked and me and the teacher wondered what had died...... Could explain why I ate lunch alone.... Hmmm food for thought.......
